🍻 Jaguar F Pace Reliability Reddit
2017 XE or XF reliability. Realistically, how much trouble am I looking at with either of these models? Both under $23k (I'm in America) and both around 41k miles. Most of my exposure to Jags comes from watching Top Gear and I know they exaggerate a bit, but clearly reliability is a concern. Jaguars are gorgeous cars and I've always wanted one
The E-PACE is on a heavily modified Ford EUCD platform, but Jaguar/Land Rover has eliminated the old Ford four-cylinder gas engines in favor of in-house Ingenium units. And of course the outgoing 3.0 S/C V6 that’s based on the V8 and the V8 itself are Jaguar-developed.
I felt when the new F-pace just came out it was like no others inside out, but gradually it just looks more and more boring to me especially without the sport packages. Also at time the standard 340hp (380hp if opts for S) engine is far superior than competitors with same price tag, now the Germans step in the game and the actual selling price
As of MY2022, the I-Pace has switched from LG Chem to Samsung cells, gotten improved infotainment, and a new charging curve. Kris Rifa made a video showing off a MY2022 10-80% charge time of 42.5min with an average rate of 91.5kW due to a surprisingly flat charge curve.
I got to drive one last Thursday round the Fen End Jaguar track. Great fun to drive, handles v well around corners and is insanely fast. Really enjoyed my time in it. However what was v impressive is the noticeable difference between modes. Standard mode it will just cruise around like any SUV and just do the job of getting you from a to b.
6 days ago · Overall Reliability. We expect the 2024 I-Pace to be less reliable than other new cars. This prediction is based on Jaguar's brand history. The 2021 Jaguar I-Pace has been recalled 4 times by

Now that I’m out of warranty, fingers crossed. So far so good. The car is beautiful and still a blast to drive. 5 just-ask2 • 9 mo. ago
Starting at $71,295 · 9/10. The 2018 Jaguar XF luxury sedan has exquisite styling, a comfortable ride, and plenty of standard features, but on the road it's outperformed by several rivals.
When my Dad retired he bought a 2017 the F-Type R 5.0 V8. It was his absolute pride and joy. He loved it so much, that he upgraded to a 2022 version of the same car with the same engine. He loves the car, however he's disappointed; the 2017 with the active exhaust sounded beautiful throughout the range, starting as low as 1,500 revs.
Hey everyone, I’m thinking of pulling the trigger on one of these beauties. Wanted to hear some feedback from some owners on how reliable these suvs…
However just looked up a Jaguar F type R MSRP $118,999. Then I saw a used 2022 porsche 911 Carrera with 907 miles going for $133,330. I understand that 15k is a lot of money but if I was in the market for another car I wouldn’t think twice about spending the money. I’d even go older or more miles to get the Porsche.
I’m looking at two F Type, 15 F Type R and a 16 F Type R. 15 has 93k miles and is VERY reasonable. 16 gas 61k miles and is just a bit on the high side. I can get a very good after market warranty for either car. Do I save 5-6k bucks and see how the F Type lives with 100k miles or play it a bit safer and go with the 61k and AWD?
Jaguar F-Pace SVR Inflation? I currently own a 2017 Jaguar F-Pace 35t and I'm looking at trading/buying an F-Pace SVR. Does anyone know why the markup is still in the low $50k range for used models? The next trim level down drops to the high 20's - low 30's used. Vote. 2. 2 comments. AutoModerator • 6 min. ago.
Ever since Jaguar moved out of Ford’s umbrella, their reliability has improved substantially. I own a 2017 XE in the US and haven’t had any major (or minor) issues whatsoever. Had to replace tyres after 3rd year but that’s pretty much it. Cost depends on type and location. I absolutely love my car.
I am pretty unfamiliar with Jaguars but am really wanting an f-pace. I am looking at a 2017 f-pace 35t with a little over 100k miles. Anything I should be aware of before buying it/common problems that pop up with this many miles? Engine is 1 of JLR’s better efforts but electrical gremlins could be an issue.
