🐽 Is Half Life 2 Worth It

Half-Life 2 is great fun but go ahead and absorb in all of the greatest campaign FPSes in story and gameplay. Two I think steps it up a little more with gravity gun, some vehicle sequences and a little bit of squad time, but 1 is still a great game in storytelling, difficulty, and a fun variety of levels and weaponry. It was actually released on the same year as The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim but had notably better graphics and physics. As a result, Portal 2 came to represent what the aging Source engine was still capable of. Whereas the last Half-Life game, Half-Life 2: Episode Two, was released back in 2007 and had much more outdated graphics. What is Half Life 2? I don't get it :p Is it worth playing in 2015? Still good quality? Are there better games out there for 10 bucks? Thx :3 There's 3 games for half life 2: the original Half Life 2, which is a full game; Half Life 2 episode 1, a story continuation; and Half Life 2 episode 2, another story continuation. They are something in between DLC's and Sequels. They are way shorter but continue the story. The orange box is a pretty good deal. If you love Half-Life 2, then the episodes are 100% worth it. But if you are indifferent about HL2, then probably don't bother. I'm not sure how much the episodes cost now, but they are probably pretty cheap these days, I'm guessing. Half-Life 2: Episode One might not introduce any major new weapons or stunning plot twists, but the further insight it gives into the universe and characters who dwell within is unquestionably worth the experience – if only to see the enigmatic "G-Man" get well and truly pissed.
