🐿️ Far Cry 5 Controller Not Working

I have had to do this work around randomly when launching the game multiple times, once game is launched it stays fixed until you close the game. Big Picture -> FC5 -> Controller options -> Set to 'Forced off' This worked for me. Initially the controller seemed dead. I unplugged it and plugged it back in. Then it seemed to register with the game. Reverse works now. I tried doing the unplug and plug back in without changing this option. Didn't work. Have to change this option. Basically what u do is to go into big picture mode and click on library and look for the far cry game and click on it. Then when you're inside click manage game, and under the controller option change it to force off. Now once you do this some gamepad will work but some will not response at all. 2. The next most simple thing to check is just to see if the controller is working ok in the Windows settings > control panel> set up USB (or whatever) controller> (select your controller)>properties (I use bot Win 8.1 and Win 11) and see if it appears and the joystick are working as they should. ----. 1 is always pistols, 4 is always "bread and butter" (assault rifle) ALT is always crouch or sneak, mouse button 5 is always melee, mouse button 4 is something relating to specialized gear (fire mode for gun) Everything by this point has become muslce memory.
